Review of Foreign Correspondent (1940) by Kevin L — 01 Jan 2013
Hitchcock strolls the viewer through Europe in this intriguing spy classic. Capturing some of Hitchcock's best scenes as a director, this early take on political corruption asserts itself as extraordinary in all forms: acting, setting, and plot.
As a director, Hitchcock is primarily known for his horror/psychological thriller genre of films, however this film among others showcases the director's wide range of diversity, as being one of the greatest filmmakers of his time.
