Review of Ford v Ferrari (2019) by Section20Mi6 — 27 Mar 2020
A exhilrating journey through the life of competition of Ken Miles, Ford V Ferrari surely balances the drama and action with some comedic elements in between to make the film an engaging viewing experience.
While biographic films might be boring at times, Mangold kept the pace well enough to let us feel the bond between Ken Miles and Carrol Shelby, whom despite obstacles mounting both from within the Ford Motors and the races itself, still manages to make the best out of the situtation to prevail against odds.
Although the story is not about winning, it's about courage and committment ones needs to battle against the unknown. Some downsides would be the uneven screentime of Lee Iaccoca of John Bernthal's character and the way too conventional filming styles.
