Review of Ford v Ferrari (2019) by Dharma — 11 Jan 2020
Entertaining biopic on the Le Mans race of 1966, a somewhat obscure history piece where Ford, once upon a time, managed to dominate that world renowned race. Its done in a typical underdog vs establishment fashion (which was a bit strange, considering in real life, the underdog was Ferrari and not the other way around.
Beside that fact, this flick is well acted by the two leads, and competently directed by the always dependable Mangold. Yet, it did not bring anything new to the table.
