This got slammed on release, mainly for being 'patchy' or 'inconsistent'...but I'm not sure why....although it doesn't fit the mould of a normal rom com. Affleck, Bullock and Tierney shine, no more so than when the two main leads argue in their shared hotel room.
..a film where you actually genuinely don't know what decision the lead male will make...and where in my case, I came away thinking he made the wrong one for the right reasons. Enjoyable, uncoventional, and made me think at least.
Almost a partner piece to The Last Kiss.
