Review of Force of Darkness (1987) by Senor C — 20 Oct 2010
It's too bad the rest of Force of Darkness isn't as horribly good as the first & last 6 minutes. The way that Mel Novak as our psycho dejour rants to himself because of his split personality demon possession I thought I had something golden like Jake Steinfeld or Eric Freeman on my hands but sadly it can't sustain.
Instead we get a lot of ass wipe acting & a police investigation that doesn't really seem to go anywhere. I thought that since this was distributed by Cannon there would be something that you just don't get in other movies but it's just cheap & boring.
Really unheard of & should stay that way.
