Review of Force Majeure (2014) by Matthew S — 10 Apr 2015
Interesting premise, looking at the impact of a unexpected event on the dynamics of a young family. The locations are unusual, but real. An intense film looking at the question of what it is to be a father figure and a husband, and the challenges of living up to that role.
Various minor subplots are never really developed and the ending for me was unsatisfactory, but the film is worth seeing for all that.
