Here's the truth-- movies like this just aren't made anymore. The music, the crisp B&W photography, the complete and utter disregard for logic... it's fantastic stuff.

I was more than a little obsessed with this movie as a teen in the late-80's, and with the recent DVD relase, my obsession has been rekindled. Wish R.Elfman had continued in this vein. Fantastic movie, highly recommneded to anyone who needs a slap upside the head.
