Review of Forbidden Zone (1982) by Jessi T — 15 May 2008
Forbidden Zone is a movie that really takes things to the limit. In making it, director Richard Elfman forwent all concerns of good taste, mass appear and coherency in favor of atmosphere and energy. The result is a musical which is unconventional and even a bit uncomfortable at times, but is throughly engaging and absolutely unforgettable.
It might frighten, offend or confuse you, get it's the kind of movie everyone should experience at least once.
