Though Galaxy of Terror gets the rap for being an Alien knock off, this is more similar to Alien. It's got great gore, a fantastic monster, sweet make-up FX by John Carl Buechler, a rocking score, and some nudity.
So there's something for everyone. Remade terribly in 1991 as Dead Space.
