Review of Forbidden Planet (1956) by John J — 19 Oct 2009
What a great sci-fi film. It was the forerunner of Star Trek and other great sci-fi films. To produce such an outstanding movie in 1956 with such great special effects was great, not to mention the loveable Robbie the Robot.
But, it was one of the few films where I've not seen Nielson as a comedian. The actors were wonderful and this film is in my library. One of the greats.
