Review of Forbidden Planet (1956) by Frank A — 14 Mar 2010

While many folks will in essence "ooooh and ahhhhh" about this movie, I can't imagine anyone disliking it, many will miss the larger message contained within. For younger folks you can't imagine the great and wondrous impact that the movie portrayed for those alive when it was first released.

These were heady times. Our country was developing space travel. We envisioned colonies on the moon. Everything seemed possible. We need more movies like this that convey this message of the greatness of our country!
