Review of Forbidden games (2015) by Joseph S — 01 Jul 2007
Forbidden Games is one of the top two movies of all time for child performances. The kids playing Paulette and Michel are absolutely astonishing. They are both believable, acting as if there aren't even cameras there.
The sense of realism is the film's second strongest feature (the first being the conclusion, but I won't discuss that here). Also strong is the study of the results of war death on young children.
Overall, this is a very sad movie, but still one that no one should miss. It's almost hard for me to describe why I liked this movie so much, but it's amazing.
