Review of For Your Eyes Only (1981) by Silas P — 10 Sep 2008
After the grand sets of Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only steps back a few and Bond is back to the basics. Some cool plot twists in this one, with some great locations. Topol is excellent as Columbo, Carole Bouquet is just plain beautiful, and Lynn-Holly Johnson is a cutie.
This one feels different after the bar is raised so high after The Spy Who Loved Me and Moonraker, but it is still very much within the confines of a good Bond movie.
