Review of For Your Eyes Only (1981) by Kevin P — 31 Oct 2008
This is one of the better movies that Roger Moore has done as James Bond. It was a lot more serious, it had an interesting villain (Kristatos), and a clever story of finding a machine that controls the Navy's nuclear subs while battling an independent criminal organization.
What makes this movie unique is that this was the movie that supposedly killed off the SPECTRE storyline as a result of a lawsuit between the creators and the producers. The next movie that I will review is about SPECTRE but it does not technically exist as far as Bond canon goes.
