Review of For Your Eyes Only (1981) by Matthew L — 13 Apr 2014
After the overblown insanity of previous entries, Moonraker I'm looking at you, this is a return to a more realistic (for Bond anyway), gritty and grounded spy film. Gone are the gadgets and secret lairs and in their place a darker (for Moore at least) Bond who also turns down a woman advances! Though to be fair by this point I think she was young enough to be Moore's Grand-daughter.
A decidedly underrated entry in the series and one that needs to be rediscovered by more than just the die-hards.
