Once again a bad Moore film is followed by a great one as For Your Eyes Only harkens back to the gritty days of Dr. No and From Russia With Love with a great story and superb performances from everyone.
Moore has clearly dropped the comedy from his character as his Bond in this film is the coldest he has ever been. Some excellent scenes including a thrilling ski chase and a climb up the rock of Gibraltar anchor a great plot.
I was disappointed by the end of "Blofeld" at the beginning, but other than that this is an excellent Bond film.
