As a massive fan of Christopher Guest movies, I was really excited to see this one, but I can sum it up in one word....disappointing. If you liked Waiting for Guffman then you'll probably like this one, but it's no Spinal Tap, A Mighty Wind or Best in Show. Ricky Gervais played his part well and raised a couple of chuckles, but he was basically David Brent.
I hope Guest's future films return to the 'Mockumentary' format - as they are what he has always done best.
