Review of For Your Consideration (2006) by Ashlee C — 20 Feb 2008

I love christopher guest films, they are some of the funniest, cleverist and down right best comedy films made in recent years. that said I do believe "for your consideration" is the weakest film that he has made, but it is in no way a poor film. I think that the story doesn't really hit it's great comedy moments til the film jumps forward a few months towards the end, when the characters being "considered" for oscar nominations go through a few typical showbiz changes. I guess the 1st 2/3's of the film build towards this and does at least make this a worthy edition to Guest's cv.

Good but could have been better.
