Funny and infectious for most of the running time, the movie falls apart in the final 20 minutes, delivering an ending that is out of sync with the rest of the movie. It abuses the characters, is unfunny and ends abruptly without commenting on at least one key plot point.
The wit of the earlier parts of the movie, however, helped me forgive Mr. Guest and co-writer Levi of their major blunder...just don't let it happen next time!
