Review of For Your Consideration (2006) by Andy W — 26 Sep 2009
I wasn't a huge fan of 'Best In Show' but this film pleasantly surprised me - It has some great laugh-out-loud off-the-cuff remarks, and that's the main reason to watch this film. As an insight into the neurosis and fragile egos of actors, it doesn't really say anything new, and director Christopher Guest covered Hollywood's ridiculousness much better in 'The Big Picture'. There are some great characters in this, but its a shame they concentrate on the more infuriating ones. But, if you like films about film-making and hate actors, directors, producers and such like, this is the film for you.
