Review of For Your Consideration (2006) by Christopher S — 12 Feb 2012
Compared to other Christopher Guest mockumentaries, not as good but still a solid film. It really parodied well how rumors get started (the Internet) and what that kind of wildfire can do for films. So predictable when you see what type of direction the film was going, such as knowing that none of the characters were really going to be nominated for Academy Awards (save for the guy who isn't mentioned in the Internet rumors).
Still, it was fun seeing the train wreck that the main characters (especially Catherine O'Hara's) turn into when the rumors fly. Fred Willard was great and the way the screenwriters were portrayed was epic.
The ending was great and it saved the film from being a complete disaster.
