Obsolutely my favorite Bette movie of all time....She sings, dances, acts funny/dramatic, and she puts on a fat suit and old makeup look. Definitely worthy of the Golden Globe win. Wished she had won the Oscar for this movie.
James Caan was very good too, he looks very good in the old Hollywood style. I was very entertained and moved by this movie, especially the war scene when Bette's character witnessed her son getting killed by a bomb.
...one of the most tearjerking Bette moments of her film career.
