Having not grown up in an organized religion, I cannot fully understand the heartbreak that must accompany being told you are not welcome in your spiritual faith because of who you are. But I am friends with several gay christians and know that they have struggled with the intersection of sexuality and spiritual dogma.
This film is an excellent exploration of the topic, and the biblical scholarship they include is absolutely fascinating. I have several people in my life that I would love to send this dvd to.
