Let me start by saying that I am a bisexual man. And as a bisexual man, I thought that the message of this movie was right on target: religion should be about love, not hate and fear. Awesome!
But as a movie buff, I gotta admit that this movie feels like a propaganda film...even going through a cartoon "what a LGBT person/straight ally should say to a fundamentalist Christian" scenario. It definitely was made for the purpose of changing minds, but I doubt it will acheive much of that; most of the people who would watch this movie are probably already gay-friendly, and the immediately visible agenda behind the movie will make die-hard fundamentalists tune out.
