I don't know much about Kevin Costner, but he must be a pretty big baseball fan, because he manages to knock one out of the park with every baseball related roll he accepts. If you want to watch a baseball movie with your girlfriend, this is the one to pick.
Excellent performances all around. Very dramatic film that takes you on an emotional journey with an aging All-Star pitching the backdrop. I highly recommend this film.
