A guilty pleasure, I adore this film. Baseball is a romance and I enjoy how this film shows the medieval and modern aspects of romance. Most importantly though it's about a journey to discover what is truly important in life via one day in a man's mind.
Fantastic cast, sharp direction by Raimi and a script while a bit big on schmaltz at times still tugs at the heart strings.
