Review of For a Few Dollars More (1965) by Samuel C — 26 Mar 2012
Classic in its truest form. Leone manages in every shot, every scene, every little facial expression and every character quirk, albeit with a bit of editing difficulty for the released production, to portray the craft, the will, the greed and downright arrogance of man.
He certainly had a heavenly gift (not unlike Kurosawa). And I cannot emphasise how much grandeur Morricone brings to his films. Sheer...fucking...geniuses...both of them!
