Review of For a Few Dollars More (1965) by Thorne W — 11 Jun 2010
My least favorite of the trilogy, so I don't have much to say about it. It's more or less walking a middle ground between "Fistful of Dollars" and "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly", more epic than the first film, but still too "small Texas town" oriented for it to really stand out.
That being said, it's great to see Gian Maria Volonté return as El Indio, and between that character and his sinister approaches to gunfights and the team up of Manco and Mortimer, it's an all around great film with incredibly solid performances across the board.
