Review of Footnote (2011) by Elisabeth Victoria L — 11 Apr 2012
As a philologist, I found the script utterly brilliant, yet the film partly fails to deliver. Borrowing from Aristotelian rhetoric ( I think the characters would appreciate that) the film definitely has ethos and logos, but lacks pathos.
In spite of that, it is a clever film to watch.
