Review of Footnote (2011) by Sean Michael S — 24 Nov 2012
A brilliant look into a fiery father-son relationship that overwhelms with both a potent screenplay as well as an incredibly effective orchestral score. Nearly flawless, "Footnote" moves so fluently and fast that is it hard to keep up with the rocket speed subtitles.
Intellectual and darkly comedic, Joseph Cedar's film is an impressive work of art that sticks in the mind long after viewing.
