Dance movies could not get as good as this one. This film has interesting characters. John Lithgow plays a reverend who is against any kind of dancing in the town, until Kevin Bacon comes into town and lights up the town's youth spirit in dancing and celebrating dances.
There are good dance sequences in this film aswell as really addictive music.
