Wow! I so disagree with RT's take on this film! I'm just flummoxed at this writer's hatred for this film "...Footloose is a nice hunk of trashy teenage cheese." Good story, good music, good dancing, good acting.
.. And I was well past teenage when this come out, FYI. Let me guess: that critic thought the more recent, totally GAY" Chicago" was a great movie musical.
