Review of Fools Rush In (1949) by Timothy M — 06 Dec 2012
I really enjoyed this movie. I loved how they demonstrated each others family background. One (Salma Hayek) from Mexico and one (Matthew Perry) from the United States. The cultures are so defined and they show how opposites can really attract.
There are a lot of similar formulas for the RomCom, but that is to be expected, because it is a RomCom. Besides Hayek the acting could be better, and the writing could be more developed, but overall there are tiny golden moments, that make it worth it.
It drags in parts, but the moment it starts to get tedious, something happens and it makes it worthwhile.
