Review of Fool's Gold (2008) by Jeremiah S — 05 Jan 2010
Great filmography even though there are no mountains in the Keys or the Bahamas, but the scenery?filmed in Australia and the Caribbean due to hurricane season?is still beautiful and always puts me in a great mood.
The villians are a little disney-fied, but I like the bumbling action hero... he doesn't fight like a martial artist, isn't so smart, and uses real life scenarios to get himself through a situation.
.. "how'd you learn to fly?" "Playstation!" Tess balanced his character with wits and of course the two had good chemistry. I imagine all the negative reviews are from guys who thing the action is hokey.
