Review of Fool's Gold (2008) by Paola J — 09 Jan 2010
I never really wanted to see this, you may not even consider watching it muted while working on your computer actually "seeing" the movie, but it was enough for me to rate it. 1) Alexis Dziena annoys me to no end, so it loses a star there.
2) I would rather have watched "Into the Blue" again and that could have cost the movie more than a star, but I'll be generous. 3) I didn't even like this couple in "How to Lose a Guy," though I'd like to see Matt and Jodie Foster together again, as well as Kate and John Corbett, thus it loses another star.
4) The final star is lost due to the predictable plot and shallow characters. Really the only reason I can give it a star is because Malcolm-Jamal Warner is in it.
