I think Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey have great chemistry, but this movie just didn't do it for me. It was as if the movie was trying to be too many things all at once and failed. The movie wasn't funny enough to truly be considered a comedy.
While there was some romance, it didn't come off as a truly romantic film and the little romance that was in the film seemed to bog down the adventure.
