Review of Food, Inc. (2008) by Blake D — 25 May 2012
Definitely food for thought. It explains a lot of the issues I have wondered about with food production & the biases of FDA and USDA, as well as Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas. I think the insight to the national crisis of rising type II diabetes is well-thought-out as well.
It does enforce my pre-existing leanings towards farmer's market and organic foods. I find it well-presented, even with its own biases. Walmart makes a surprising positive appearance in this film, too.
