Review of Food, Inc. (2008) by Russell G — 26 Aug 2012
It is surprising when you being to understand all of the things that are being done to our meat, produce and other food products. I appreciate the number of topics covered and the level of explanation presented about several concerning trends in the food industry today.
Before watching this I honestly never cared about organic, hormone enhanced or, genetically altered foods, but this began to make me understand how important some of these issues are. It does begin to make you think about where your food comes from and think twice when buying groceries.
I enjoyed the structure and organization to the movie, but the presentation could have been a little better. Also, I would have liked to have seen more scientist, farmers, nutritionists, doctors, and governmental figures commenting along the way to add validity and bolster the filmâ(TM)s view points.
