I have the book and been reading it. I live in Australia. Just saw the film "Food Inc" on SBS tonight. Am so glad that people have the courage to bring this information to light. In Australia we have the author David Gillespie - a lawyer whose father in law is a doctor with over a line of degrees. His books 'Sweet Poison' and 'Big Fat Lies' really take the lid off what is in the food and the history behind it. Goes hand in hand with 'Food Inc'. He also has 'Sweet Poison Quit Plan' and a new book that goes even more into the fats in our diets.
I order my fresh foods, dairy and meats from a company called 'Aussie Direct' that gets it straight from the farm - I order on line and it is delivered to my door. Apples with no wax on them - strawberries that are so fresh and last, meat that is from grass fed, real free range eggs and vegetables that are so crunchy. I keep the doctors poor :D.
