Review of Food, Inc. (2008) by Jonathan B — 24 Jul 2013
Food, Inc. gives an overview of the corruption of the food industry and the government for its lack of oversight. While it can at times feel like a general summary, it presents a lot of information that the public may not be aware of.
There is a good flow to the film which breaks the topics into segments but continues the overall themes. At the center of Food, Inc. is the message that consumers need to be more informed about where their food is coming from.
The ending provides some information, but does not give much thought into efforts to change the situation.
