Review of Foo Fighters: Back and Forth (2011) by Tanya P — 22 Jan 2012
This is a must see for any Foo Fighters fans! This is a great documentary about an amazing rock band in the prime of their careers. I liked how the movie explains how a Dave Grohl rose out of the ashes of Nirvana and Kurt Cobain's death and formed Foo Fighters.
The band members have a lot of personality and we get to know all them well throughout the documentary, even the quieter guys like Nate and Chris. It takes you through the process and personal experiences of forming the band, lineup changes, writing each album, relentless touring, and the personal hardships of the members.
I love how the movie wraps up with the making of the amazing album Wasting LightÂ? where you get a glimpse of their creative and recording process.
