Nolan's first: An amazing little independent, shot for under 10 grand. Jeremy Theobald and Alex Haw are very, very good (the rest of the cast not so much, but nobody sinks the film). A strong sense of tonal style amplies the power of writing/editing.. it's all node and no anti-node. Guilt and obsession abound! Gripping entertainment that rewards repeated viewing.
Capital lesson for filmmakers: all you really need to get rolling is a good idea and the will to follow it through.
