Review of Following (1999) by Wes H — 03 Jul 2012
When held up against Christopher Nolan's subsequent body of work, "Following" doesn't seem like an especially great film. However, it is a fascinating film to watch knowing that this unknown (at the time) filmmaker would go on to become arguably the most important mainstream director since Steven Spielberg.
It is also amazing how he was able to accomplish so much on a shoestring budget and still make a movie that feels very much like a Christopher Nolan film.
