Review of Following (1999) by Wave C — 23 Aug 2012
The Following's appeal is in its labyrinth of twists and knots of the plot line.
It competently manipulates time frames, the audience's expectations and suspicions to deliver a clever story ending with a sly smile, not too different from that of Cobb's.
But the tricks the Following performs with the plot line seem less impressive when tailed by its loose dialogue and forgettable acting.
