Review of Following (1999) by Arianeta L — 25 Feb 2010
This is a superb film. It shot in black and white and does not play chronologically. This film makes clear that Christopher Nolan is best when writing and directing. It is a great twisting thriller but because the temporal order of the film is shifted around it makes it even more interesting.
For a film of such a small budget and with no famous actors this is so good. It is short film but completely surprising full of mystery and twists and certainly great to watch. The score from David Julyan is also excellent very atmospheric and has a high quality.
In conclusion I have to say that Christopher Nolan is the most talented director of recent times.
