Review of Follow a Star (1959) by Nat G — 03 Feb 2011
The general idea is quite similar to that which was used in Singin' In The Rain, but Follow A Star is not quite that good a movie. To be honest I found the film predictable and far too long. The music is passable and the acting is a little ropey, the best thing as always is Norman Wisdom who steals the show, the scene when he sings in the bath is brilliant, and there are a few other scenes which are funny.
But overall the film is disappointing, something your nan might love, but other than that there is not a lot to get excited about.
