Review of Focus (2015) by Sh E — 29 May 2015

#WillSmith is almost back. He comes here with his usual swagger in this movie. In this romanic/comedy/action drama (yep, all of that), he plays Nicky, a con man who finds a protà (C)gà (C) in the form of #MargotRobbie (previously seen opposite #LeoDiCaprio in #theWolfofWallStreet; soon to be seen as #Jane in an updated #Tarzan movie). With parts #OceansEleven and parts #MrandMrsSmith, Smith and Robbie play well off each other. As is the case with most con movie, thereâ(TM)s a big con at the end. The set-up is confusing as hell, but the follow through is still fun. Smith looks like heâ(TM)s having fun. Heâ(TM)s definitely looking better than ever. Robbie is reminiscent of #EmmaStone (thatâ(TM)s a compliment coming from me). Bottom line: not much is original in this story, but itâ(TM)s good to see Will having fun on screen again. With that said, my score: #8outof10.
