Review of Focus (2015) by Thabiso M — 16 Jun 2015
Focus had potential to be one of the best con-artist movies ever but it just lost it's way and came up not being believeable in the end, but it was ok. Firstly Will smith and Robbie Executed their roles beautifully, the first half of the movie was amazing it started out simple then stepped it up, it was dramatic, exciting and completely believable UNTiL will smith does something to Robbie which made no sense you just felt like going why would he do that and there was never a reason, and that's were the film lost it from there.
The second half of the movie was unbalanced and not well planned. Gerald McRaney's role was completely out of place and confusing and Rodrigo Santoro's character started strong but fell overtime.
You just fell not completely satisfied by the ending but just managed to be a good enough film in the end.
