Review of Flying Home (2014) by Pamela H — 24 Jan 2015
Not sure why everyone is raving about Jamie Dornan in this film other than the eye candy aspect. Charlotte De Bruyne and Jan Decleir give much more authentic performances. There is little believable magic between the 2 romantic leads although De Bruyne tries her best.
Sweet story, rather predictable, but based on the true story of a pigeon who saved soldiers in WWI. The loving beautiful shots of the Belgian countryside make it almost worthwhile.
