Review of Flyboys (2006) by Teresa S — 11 Aug 2010
(2006 Director: Tony Bill) Good casting of several "lost" young men who set sail for France to join in the Great War (W W I) to enter training to become fighter pilots! Some great in-the-air battle scenes.
Story of growing up! Martin Henderson (OLTL) portrays Reed Cassidy, the sole survivor from HIS group of pilot trainees-- now co-commanding yet another wave of valient, young, heroic or naive young men volunteering for this training as fighter pilots/ Their undoing may be ultimately the battles between their squadron and the infamous "Red Baron.
" Jean Reno stars as French Capt. Thenault who accepts their raw selves as they undertake training these green Americans..
